Season 4 of Stranger Things was one of the most intense seasons of the show. There were a lot of remarkable scenes that made fans contemplate the show for a very long time. However, some iconic scenes from season 4 were not part of the script.
In July, the Duffer brothers announced on Twitter that some of the scenes were improvised by the cast’s amazing acting skills. Due to the raw emotions the stars portrayed, the scenes became more intense and emotional.
Joseph Quinn, who plays the role of Eddie, improvised his death scene. He told Dustin, played by Gaten Matarazzo, “I love you” as his last words. These left a long-lasting impression on the audience and made them fall in love with the character even more.
Secondly, Winona Ryder and David Harbour improvised by adding the kissing scene before their fight scene with demo dogs. They sure do have strong on-screen chemistry
Lastly, one of the most heartbreaking emotional scenes, where Lucas hugs Max after she almost got killed by Vecna, was also unscripted. This scene emotionally touched the viewers because of the intensity.
We can safely say that sometimes unscripted and unplanned moments can lead to excellent results.
